  • Self-produced three performances at New York Citys Theatre of the Riverside Church, reviewed by Jack Anderson of the New York Times.

  • Participated in a Dancers Responding to AIDS event produced by the NYC Dance Alliance and the Capezio Foundation at the Theatre of the Riverside Church. Danced at the International Festival of Wheelchair Dance in Boston, Massachusetts, sponsored by the Boston Dance Umbrella.

  • Awarded 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service.

August

  • Kitty Lunn invited by Jacques DAmboise to serve on the faculty of the National Dance Institute and to develop a dance curriculum for students using wheelchairs in New York City.

September

  • Premiere of Gilchrists Dream, commissioned by the Chief of the Clan MacMillan and premiered at MacMillan Castle, Finlaystone, outside of Glasgow, Scotland.

  • Performed in The Imagination Series at the Dance Theater Workshop in New York City.

  • Company performance at New York Citys P.S. 199 for children with and without disabilities the first of several annual performances.

1998

January

  • Kitty Lunn initiated a wheelchair dance technique curriculum at P.S. 199 and inaugurated weekly classes under the auspices of the National Dance Institute.

April

  • Lecture demonstration for the National Dance Association in Reno, Nevada.

June

  • Presentation at Inclusion of Artists with Disabilities in Education conference co-sponsored by the Kennedy Center and the National Endowment for the Arts.

September

  • Lecture demonstration at New York Citys Columbia University for Dance Education masters students resulting in the first recognition of wheelchair dance as an art form by a major university.

December

  • Performance at Dancers Responding to AIDS The Remember Project, at St. Marks Church in New York City in which Infinity continues to participate each December.

1999

January

  • Performed at New York Citys Taipei Theater, sponsored by the Association of Performing Arts Presenters.

March

  • Three performances in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, co-produced by the Pittsburgh Dance Alliance and the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera. Premiere of Dreambody by Roxanna Young. Three days of concerts and workshops at Northern Westchester Center for the Arts. Feature article on Infinity in the New York Times by Cynthia Wexler. Performed two pieces at a benefit for Dancers Over 40 at Country Day School in Rye, NY.

April

  • Concert and workshop at the SUNY Stony Brook campus for public school students with disabilities from Nassau and Suffolk counties. Infinity and the Clan MacMillan Society co-produced Celebrating Scotlands Heroes in Music and Dance at the Theatre of the Riverside Church.

May

  • Infinity and P.S. 199 students participated in the outdoor event Arts for All Kids at Lincoln Center, sponsored by the New York City Board of Education, United Cerebral Palsy, and Lincoln Center. Performed three pieces at the 1999 VSA International Art & Soul Festival in Los Angeles, California, and conducted a technique workshop and wheelchair clinic for Guatemalan and South African dancers with disabilities.

June

  • Presented one week of concerts and workshops in Carpi, Italy (near Bologna), sponsored by the Fondazione Casa Di Risparmio.

October

  • Performed three concerts at the Theatre of the Riverside Church in New York City. Major article in the New York Times by Amy Waldman on Mark Brew, formerly of the Australian Ballet and then the newest Infinity company member.

2000

February

  • Participated in a Dancers Over 40 performance at Merce Cunningham Studio in New York City for an audience of 400.

April

  • Presented by the School Board of Broward County in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, reaching 9,000 students. Lecture demonstration sponsored by the Kessler Institute at New Jerseys Liberty Science Center for 200 individuals.

May

  • Performance at Symphony Space in New York City, presented by the First Annual Jazz Dance Festival before 500 audience members; recipient of Artists Excellence Award. Presented by the International Festival of Different Abilities in Carpi, Italy with a standing-room-only audience of 900.

June

  • Performed for 2,500 audience members at the New Amsterdam Theater in New York City, presented by the Actors Fund of America and the Christopher Reeve Foundation.

July

  • Lecture demonstration for the Dancing in the Millennium Festival in Washington, D.C.

October

  • Participation in the Ideas 2000 conference, presented by the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. Performed in Washington, D.C. for 600 individuals, presented by the Kennedy Center.

2001

January

  • Performed at the Association of Performing Arts Presenters Conference in New York City.

March

  • Lecture demonstration and performance at Central Michigan University in Midland, Michigan for 750 audience members; also featured the world premiere of Tangos Clandestinos by Gabriela Poler.

April

  • Two benefit performances of From the Horses Mouth for Dancers Responding to AIDS at the Kaye Playhouse in New York City.

May

  • Release of Ballet Technique Transposed for Students Using Wheelchairs Infinitys first-of-its kind video documenting the companys ballet transposition curriculum. Performance of Gilchrists Dream in St. Petersburg, Florida for 1,000 public school children and teachers, sponsored by VSA arts. Performance and lecture demonstrations at Celtic Fest in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania for 700 audience members and 400 public school children. Bologna, Italy performance and lecture demonstration for 800.

July

  • New York City Season at the Kaye Playhouse for 1,200 audience members featuring the world premieres of Peter Puccis In Time Like Air and Gabriela Polers Neruda. Also included the company premiere of Puccis Hoop-La, the American premieres of Mark Brews Access and Fly.

November

  • Sold-out performance of In Time Like Air as a guest of Aterballetto in Reggio Emalia, Italy, with an audience of 1,000, in addition to a master class.

2002

January

  • Michael A. Fitch named Executive Director of Infinity Dance Theater. Association of Performing Arts Presenters Conference performance for 1,000 audience members.

March

  • Participation in the two-day event, Ballet Builders: Choreographers on Pointe, at Florence Gould Hall in New York City.

April

  • Lecture demonstration at South Brunswick Elementary School in New Jersey for 650 fifth-grade students. Performance at the Ulster Festival of Dance in Saugerties, New York for 900 guests.

June

  • New York City Season at the John Jay Theater in New York City for 700 audience members over three performances featuring the world premieres of Gabriela Polers Reflections and Jeffrey Freezes Poem on the Lid of a Shoebox and Three to Get Ready.

July

  • Two evening-length presentations at the Tramway Theatre in Glasgow, Scotland a modern concert, and the world premiere of Scotlands Heroes A Celebration of Celtic Heritage in Music, Verse, Song, and Dance.

September / October

  • Three master classes for student dancers with disabilities and teachers at the Northern Westchester Center for the Arts.

November

  • Performed Neruda at as part of Unique Voices, Common Language, presented by the Iona College Council on the Arts in New Rochelle, New York. 550 audience members.

December

  • Infinitys fifth consecutive appearance as part of Dancers Responding to AIDS The Remember Project at St. Marks Church in New York City, with a performance of Neruda this year.

2003

March

  • Performance of Neruda as part of Womens History Month at Columbia Universitys International House in New York City for a celebration of women and the arts, before an audience of 650.

April

  • Performance of Gilchrists Dream at the Broadway Theatre in Kingston, New York to celebrate National Tartan Day presented by the Ulster Ballet Festival, with 750 in attendance.

May

  • P.S. 89, an inclusive elementary school with a dance program in Lower Manhattan, hosted Infinity for two performances reaching 500 kindergarten through sixth grade students with and without disabilities. Two performances and a lecture demonstration for 5,000 students at the Broward County Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida presented by the School Board of Broward County.

June

  • Presented two performances of Neruda as part of The Souls of our Feet Women Dancemakers at the Thelma Hill Performing Arts Center of Long Island University, for 200 students.

July / August

  • Workshops and other educational activities with students and teachers at Northern Westchester Center for the Arts Summer Dance Camp.

Fall

  • Kitty Lunn offers workshops and master classes with teachers and student dancers with disabilities at the Northern Westchester Center for the Arts.

October

  • For the Northern Westchester Center for the Arts Gala honoring Peter Pucci and Alan Menken, Kitty Lunn and her young students were featured during a new work titled Home, choreographed by Ms. Lunn and set to music from Alan Menkens Beauty and the Beast. This new dance work was created at the request of Mr. Menken presented before an audience of 500.

November

  • Four-day educational residency at the Crotched Mountain School in Greenfield, New Hampshire including a performance, class, lecture, teacher training, and a technical session about modifying wheelchairs for dance. In-depth sessions with 12 teachers and 8 students, as well as a performance for 200.

2004

January

  • Performance of In Time Like Air and Neruda at a City Center event preceding the start of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters Conference for an audience of 150. Performance of In Time Like Air at New York Citys Bellevue Hospital Arts in Healthcare Conference for 250 guests.

April

  • Actors Equity presents Kitty Lunn and Infinity Dance Theater with the Loretta Lenoir Award for Lifetime Achievement, for outstanding achievement in the area of human rights and advancing the goal of non-traditional casting. Appearance at the First Annual Conference on Health and Wellness for Adults with Disabilities, Empowerment through Healthy Lifestyles, presented by the New York State Association of County Health Officials, for an audience of 500. Appearance at the IBM Global Workplace Diversity Conference at the Palisades Executive Center in Palisades, New York for 300.

May

  • Wheelchair Dance Technique Workshop at the New 42nd Street Studios for grantees of the New York State Council on the Arts. Performance at the Northern Westchester Center for the Arts for an audience of 350. Wheelchair Dance Technique Workshops at New York University for members of the National Dance Educators Organization and students from NYUs graduate dance education program. Performance and workshop at the 25th Annual New Jersey Governors Conference on Recreation for Individuals with Disabilities.

June

  • Performances at the 2004 International VSA arts Festival; Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts; Washington, D.C. Opening Ceremony at Kennedy Center Concert Hall for audience of 2,000; Millennium Stage Performance for 750 guests; and wheelchair dance technique lecture demonstration. Two-day educational residency at the Crotched Mountain School in Greenfield, New Hampshire including a teacher training session and workshop with students.

  • An Evening of Romance & Dance featuring Kitty Lunn with Mark Roxey of Roxey Ballet four performances with 100 guests each night, and one benefit performance at the Matheny School in Peapack, New Jersey for 500 guests.

March

  • Performance for the Dance Masters of America (Chapter 17) Competition at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, Maryland for an audience of 800. Four lecture demonstrations at Cuppett Performing Arts Center of Vienna, Virginia, with 20 students per class and three Cuppett educators participating. Benefit performance for Armonk (NY) Center for Dance to benefit their special education program, with attendance of 500.

Spring

  • Wheelchair dance technique classes for teachers and students with and without disabilities at Northern Westchester Center for the Arts (weekly, 11 students, four teachers) and the Matheny School of New Jersey (twice weekly, students, four teachers).

May

  • New York City teacher training workshops in modern dance transposition technique at New York University for 15 dance educators. Workshop and performance for the New Jersey Department of Parks & Recreation, with an audience of 200 for the performance and 50 for the workshop.

July

  • Educational residency at the Crotched Mountain School in Greenfield, New Hampshire and Cedarcrest in Keene, New Hampshire including workshops with 100 students and teachers, a performance for 100, and an African dance transposition workshop.

  • Wheelchair dance technique classes for teachers and students with and without disabilities at Northern Westchester Center for the Arts (weekly, 11 students, four teachers) and the Matheny School of New Jersey (weekly, 10 students, four teachers).   • Performance for HSC Foundation Benefit at Washington D.C.s WVSA arts connection for 75 guests. Workshop showings of the evening-length multimedia dance work in development, Wheels & Bodies in Motion, a Co-Production with Roxey Ballet (Lambertville, New Jersey) at the Canal Studio Theater, for four performances reaching 500.

  • Modern dance technique workshop by Kitty Lunn during a regional conference presented by New York State Dance Education Association and New York University, benefiting 25 participants. The event concluded with a studio showing of Peter Pucci's new work for the company, style="font-style:italic;"Lead Me Home.

March

  • Two dance workshops and performance at Manhattan School for Children for 44 children with and without disabilities, and 18 teachers - using dance to teach across the curriculum (K - 4).

  • Dance classes for 25 2nd graders with and without disabilities at the Manhattan School for Children. Twice per week, Kitty Lunn led the students in developing a production of Peter and the Wolf, which the students performed in May.
  • Integrated dance choreography workshop and performance showing at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York.

May 28 - 31

  • Infinity Dance Theater presented Body of Work: 50 Years of Dance with Kitty Lunn, the company's third engagement at Joyce SoHo, reaching audiences of 300.

June

  • Dance workshop for 25 kindergarten students with and without disabilities, teachers, and administrators, at the Little Red School House.

July

  • A week-long Integrated Dance Summer Intensive led by Kitty Lunn and held at New York University, benefiting 13 dance educators and dancers with and without disabilities.
